Please join the Frontier Constituency Group. We need your help.
The Frontier CG by its title and nature is a relatively small group of individuals dedicated to recognizing the importance of access to health services even in the most remote communities in the country. The Frontier CG has been incredibly active this year and is working with the Office of Rural Health Policy Frontier Partners workgroup, the Frontier and Rural Expert Panel and the National Center for Frontier Communities on a variety of topical areas such as:
Reauthorization of the Frontier Extended Stay Clinic's legislation
Care Coordination
Behavioral Heath Aides
Frontier Women's Health
FCHIP
and other timely and important concepts for frontier health.
The CG is in jeopardy of losing its voting Board member status within NRHA this year. We need your help in order to keep the voice of very rural America engaged at an equal member. We recognize that you may owe allegiance to other CGs for which you have an affiliation such as hospitals or RHCs and ask that you consider expanding your membership to organizational and assigning someone to the Frontier CG or help us identify potential new members for NRHA that might have a frontier interest.
